Prospective students should have a B.Sc. in one of the branches in life sciences, medical sciences, exact sciences or engineering, from a recognized higher education institute in Israel or abroad, with average grade of 80 or more. A grade of 85 will be required in the mathematical courses (mathematics, statistics, physics, chemistry, etc.). Candidates should first apply to one of the following biological departments of the Faculty of Natural Sciences:
The student must first be accepted to a department and find a thesis supervisor within that department. The thesis must include a substantial computational component. The student may then enroll to the bioinformatics program.
